Confession time: I was a teenager in the late 90's/early 00's, and I didn't watch Laguna Beach or The Hills. I feel like I might have been just about the only girl my age who didn't. I would occasionally catch an episode here or there, but I wasn't a religious watcher by any means. BUT, I have always been a fan of Lauren Conrad's style. I think she's gorgeous in a sun-kissed, California girl kinda way, and she has that down-to-earth fashion thing down to a science. She always looks put together, but casual enough that a girl in Texas can steal her look and not look ridiculous.
Even though I'm super short, I'm a big fan of flats and flat boots, especially now that I've got a baby on my hip 24/7, and she rocks that look effortlessly. I feel like I could easily wear any of the outfits below in my day to day life...and that's my favorite kind of style inspiration, friends. Something realistic for a mama in the suburbs.
