30 Weeks With Baby #2

10 weeks to go!!! Maybe....I have a feeling this guy will be late. But somewhere in the vicinity of 10 weeks to go! I am getting super duper excited to meet him and for our family to officially become a family of four. Can't wait! These past two weeks have been pretty great. I'm still feeling good, not even all that pregnant aside from that massive belly I'm hauling around, and don't feel like I'm really held back from doing too much of the normal every day stuff I do. If every pregnancy were this awesome I would have like five more! (watch out, husband)

Due Date
October 17, 2015

This Week Baby A...
is the size of a head of lettuce! He's over 15 inches long and around 3 pounds. His eyesight is continuing to develop, although it won't be that great even when he's born - babies eyesight at birth is somewhere around 20/400. Growing, growing, growing!

Symptoms
Aside from being a little tired, nothing too crazy. On the days that I'm super active, the next morning I'm pretty tired and my feet are sore. I'm a little crampy here and there, occasional indigestion if I eat spicy stuff or eat too much too fast, but really...that's about it!

Weight Gain
According to the doctor's scales on Monday just about 18 pounds, which is crazy. I was up 23 pounds at this point last time, so I almost can't believe it. That also means I haven't gained anything in two weeks, which seems strange. Maybe the scales were off? I mean, I'll go with it just to make myself feel good....

Gender
Baby Boy :)

Food Cravings/Aversions
The only thing I've just HAD to have lately is the cook and serve chocolate pudding from a box that I eat super hot as soon as it's done cooking. Other than that I kind of just eat whatever everyone else happens to want. No big cravings at all.

Movements
I guess because I don't have an anterior placenta this time the movements are SO much stronger than with Grayson. I'm starting to feel big things popping out, like what I'm assuming is a knee or elbow or maybe a little booty. It's almost painful sometimes it's so intense! But seriously, a baby moving around inside of you has to be the coolest thing to experience, ever. Even when it's uncomfortable it's amazing.

Sleep
Still good on the sleep front. I've had just a little bit more trouble relaxing when I first lay down some nights, and some nights I wake up in the middle of the night with indigestion that keeps me up for a bit, but I'm still comfy for the most part and sleeping well - although it is getting harder to flip over!

Daddy's Thoughts
He said "I mean, it's been hard, but..." when I asked him just now what his thoughts on this pregnancy were. Always the jokester. I think the only thing either of us has been focusing on lately is choosing the name. It's a constant, CONSTANT battle around here. He definitively shot down my number one choice last week, I almost had a mental breakdown over it, and now somehow we've arrived at TWO NAMES that we both like. I love one, he loves the other. Of course. So who knows how we'll decide. Prayers are appreciated.

Fun Moments
Grayson and I went to the doc on Thursday and got to hear the heartbeat and I was told that everything is going perfectly, which is amazing to hear. We went to Oklahoma over the weekend to visit my friend Katie who just had her first baby last Thursday, sweet little Lincoln. Talk about major baby fever! Good thing I'm already knocked up! We also spent some time with family, which was fun. It will be our last trip until after the baby's born, so it was nice to get away for a bit! I've also started buying a few things for the little guy here and there, although not too much so far :)

Looking Forward To...
My sprinkle in a little over a week! Can't wait to celebrate this little unnamed baby ;) Also looking forward to doing a hospital tour (if I ever remember to schedule it). And really, just can't WAIT until October so I can finally meet this guy!!!
Excuse the Cars underwear, we're potty training over here ;)
