Favorites on a Friday

More Instagram goodness. 

Hello loves. It is Friday and I am one happy lady. Today I'm planning on taking little G man to meet up with a friend and her baby boy for a music class of sorts, then we'll all four be going to have lunch, then I'll head home to enjoy my Friday evening with my hubs. Doesn't get much better than that, I tell ya.

Since my brain is on overload, as I told you earlier this week, I've decided to skip a long, heartfelt post and just share a few of the things that have made me smile, or laugh, or shed a tiny tear over the past week. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

• 24 Reasons Why Husbands Can't Be Trusted to Do Anything Right....I don't totally agree with that statement, because I kind of got lucky in the useful husband department, but some of these were just too hilarious not to share.

• Since I chose joy for my focus this year, and I'm making a huge effort to be a more positive person in general, I really enjoyed this post about 14 Things Positive People Don't Do. 

• I love, love, love to read, and I'm always looking for new book recommendations, so I loved this list of 16 Books to Read Before They Hit Theaters This Year. And I am definitely the person who ALWAYS thinks the book is better than the movie. 

• I'm pretty sure that every mom in the world needs to read Why Being a Mom is Enough. It's simple, it's pretty short and sweet, but it sums up the life of a mother so well. So much behind-the-scenes, give give give...so many everyday tasks that go unnoticed. The greatest job in the world, but the hardest. I just loved this.

• THIS one got me a little choked up, I'll admit it. A widower picks up the tab for a young couple, but OMG the note he left them. Tears.

• And finally, this was just for fun, but I loved it because it told me what I already know. According to What City Should You Actually Live In, I belong in Los Angeles. DUH. Someday I'll be back there.....someday (right, A??).

Friday.

Thank sweet baby Jesus, Friday is here. My husband is back home, I am no longer sick, and my baby and my fur baby actually played together for like the first time EVER last night. Y'all, all is right in my world.

I have no news, I have nothing important to say, and I have about a bajillion things I should probably be doing. But instead of coming up with an interesting post for you all or doing something productive, I've been wasting lots of time online, tearing up at sweet stories about animals or laughing my head off at all of the hilarious things that are out there on that crazy place we call the internet. So I just thought I'd share some of my favorite things from this week with you all. Yup, I'm taking the lazy way out. You're welcome.

• I may never have seen anything more spot on than this 10 Month Old's Letter to Santa. You guys...Grayson seriously could have written it himself. 

• This list of why kids are basically just tiny drunk adults made me laugh entirely too hard. So inappropriate, yet so incredibly funny. 

• So I've talked about how much I love autocorrect fails before. Love 'em. This list of the 25 best from 2013 had me crying laughing. I'm not exaggerating. It's like once I read a couple and I get started, they just become so ridiculous that I lose it completely. And yes, Arsen was sitting beside me while I was reading them, and yes, he asked me to stop. He hates it as much as I love it.

• I've always liked taking personality tests for some reason, but this one was really difficult for me. I felt like I was always almost half and half with which box I wanted to pick. Maybe that should tell me something...split personality? Sometimes I feel like it ;)

• I loved this post 13 Things I Love About Momma Life. It's funny how the tiniest things can be the best thing in the world when it comes to your baby, and how every mama in the world seems to be completely mesmerized by their own baby. When I first found out I was pregnant, I remember walking into a store and passing a woman with a baby in a stroller and a toddler walking beside her, and immediately feeling a connection to her. It's like you join a special club or something when you become a mom...I think it's because no one else in the world could ever understand a mother's love for her baby. It's unlike anything I've ever experienced.
