What I'm Loving Right Now #2

Thought I might keep up with my "What I'm Loving" posts....sporadically, it seems. It's been quite awhile since my first one. But there is one common denominator: Arsen was gone last time as well. Tonight he's at a happy hour with some co-workers...no girls allowed. Some radio station is putting it on, not really sure what the whole story is. But once again I'm busy catching up on Once Upon a Time, Private Practice, Parks and Rec....all the shows he refuses to watch. Obviously I adore my husband more than anything in the world, but a night to do whatever I want? Much needed every once in awhile.

So let's get to it:
This tree in our front yard: I don't know what it is, but it makes me happy. I Googled it but found no answer. Anyone know?

A very tired dog: I adore my little baby dog, but sometimes it's nice to focus on something other than her every need and desire.

This book: If you're unfamiliar with Stephanie Nielson and her amazing story, you should most definitely read this book. I'm only a few chapters in but I'm already hooked. At the very least visit her blog, The NieNie Dialogues. She is SUCH an inspiration.

Blue Birds: They are everywhere right now, and they're just so pretty. It's actually quite hilarious how fascinated I am with them...I have been deathly afraid of birds for as long as I can remember. Like, will literally take off running from a bird. But recently I decided to make peace with them. Except those hideous black crow looking things. They are pure evil.

My Wreath: I made this last weekend, and I love it! It was super duper simple to make, and obviously it's nothing fancy, but I think it's cute. It really spruces up the front door.

Bloody Marys: Oh, how I love them. They are so delicious, and Arsen makes them with juuuust enough vodka to make me the perfect amount of happy/sleepy. One is all I need to have a delightfully relaxing evening. PS: I swear I'm not an alcoholic.

My Nails: I never, ever get my nails done. The last time I had them done was for my wedding. I bite them  like crazy, so my hands always look horrible. I'm really digging feeling like a grown-up with pretty nails, so I might try to keep it up.
